Dear Member,

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Ordinary Meeting of the Colwall Parish Council will be held in the Jean Simon Room, Colwall Village Hall on Wednesday 26th March 2008, starting at 7.30 p.m. and all Councillors are summoned to attend. The business to be transacted is set out in the agenda, which is detailed below.

 

A G E N D A

1.       Welcome and Apologies: To consider the acceptance of apologies for absence             from Councillors.

 

2.       Declarations of Interests: Councillors are reminded of the need:

a)    To update their register of interests.

b)    To declare any Personal Interests in items on the agenda and their nature.

c)    To declare any Prejudicial Interests in items on the agenda. (Councillors must leave the room for the item in which they have declared a Prejudicial Interest but may make representations, give evidence or answer questions before doing so).

 

At this point the meeting will be adjourned to allow members of the public present to speak and to receive a report from Paul Smith, Local Liaison Officer

 

3.       Minutes: To consider the adoption of the minutes of the last Parish Council meeting held on 20th February 2008.

5.      Progress Reports. To receive an update on any items considered at the previous meeting:-

-           Parish Council office and the Colwall Post Office

                                  Speed Indicator Devices

                                  Bye-election for one vacancy on the Parish Council.

 

 

 

6.       Financial Matters.

To consider the Income and Expenditure to be processed for March, as per the list to be issued at the meeting.

For Council to consider a quotation from a tree surgeon, via the tree officer, for pollarding the tree in the Sensory Garden, which needs urgent attention.

 

7.      Youth in Colwall – to receive a report from Councillor Beard on the ice-skating trip, and to consider supporting Ledbury Youth First in their activities for Youth in the Parish

 

8.       Correspondence for processing.

          Further correspondence from Parishioner, supporting the request for a monetary donation towards the Colwall Festival which is being held in July 2008.

 

9.       Correspondence for Information. To note the attached appendix of items that will be available for inspection at the meeting.

 

10.    Reports of Committees.

                 i.             To receive the report of the Village Amenities Committee meeting held on 5th March 2008.

               ii.             To receive the report of the Planning & Development Committee meeting held on 12th March 2008.

              iii.             To receive the report of the Finance and General Purpose Committee meeting held on 12th March 2008.

 

11.       Allotments To receive a report from Councillor Stace’s on Allotments in the Village.

 

12       Representatives on Outside Bodies. To receive reports from Councillors who have             represented Council at meetings since the last Full Council meeting.

 

          13.         Date of next meeting:

          To confirm the date of the next Full Council meeting, this will be held on 30th April 2008.
