BISHOPS FROME
A farmer reports
the theft of an electric motor off a piece of hop picking machinery between
2200 hrs on 9th and 0800 hrs on 10th August. The farmer states that the field gates were
locked and that it must have been dragged across the field and lifted over the
gates to remove it. OIS: 204-S -100810
COLWALL
A vehicle parked in
Walwyn Rd had the locking petrol cap forced in order for thieves to steal
approx 20 litres of petrol from the tank.
The incident occurred between 3pm 7th July and 10 am on 9th

A detached garage/
storeroom of a property in Walwyn Rd appears to have been entered by offenders
unknown while the owners were on holiday.
Entry was gained via a small rear window which was smashed to gain

A black metallic
Mercedes E280 – Reg: L893SNJ was stolen from outside a property in Old Church
Rd while it was parked locked an unattended overnight between 2250 hrs on
050810 and 0800hrs 060810. OIS: 128-S

UPPER COLWALL
A resident on the
West Malvern Rd disturbed a young male wearing a hooded top with something over
his face, and carrying a rucksack, trying to break into his vehicle. Having been disturbed the male then ran
towards West Moreland and then down The Purlieu. The incident occurred at approx midnight when
the resident spotted the offender with a crow bar attempting to wrench open the
door. Fortunately nothing was

LEDBURY
Between
midnight of 31st July and 1900 hrs of 1st August a bright
orange and black Apollo 18 speed Mountain Bike was stolen from out of a front
garden in Bridge Street. The front brake
is faulty. A brand new child’s BMX was
left behind by the offenders. OIS:

A
property in Russet Close was the target for criminal damage for two days
between 10.30 pm on 6th August 7.00 am on 7th August,
when a wooden picket fence was damaged and a solar light uprooted and thrown
into a neighbour’s garden. OIS: 0091-S -100810

wing mirror of a vehicle parked in Lawnside was reported damaged by persons
unknown on 4th August. This
is believed to be linked to several large planted tubs overturned on the same
night.

A
quantity of lead flashing was reported as being removed by persons unknown over
a period unknown from a flat roof at St Michael of All Angels Church in Church
Street. The theft was noticed on 9th
August when rainwater started to come through the roof. OIS: 310-S -090810
LITTLE MARCLE
Two
Dexter cows – one black and one red went missing from a property in Falcon
Lane, on 8th August. It is
believed that the gates to the field in which they were kept was left open.

MATHON
A
resident in Mathon reported a break in to their garage overnight on 3rd/4th
August. Offenders gained entry by
breaking a padlock. Once inside a number
of power tools including a strimmer, a power washer, compressor and a level
were removed. A vehicle was heard at
0400 hrs that morning but no details were obtained.

MUCH MARCLE
A
vehicle was broken into while parked in a Car park on Marcle Ridge between 1130
hrs and 2.30 pm on 8th August. Offenders gained entry by smashing a
rear window. They then opened the boot
from the inside and made an untidy search throughout the vehicle. A lime green Northface coat was removed from a

TARRINGTON
Copper
tubing was reported stolen from where it was stored on top of a contractor’s
vehicle while parked in Barrs Orchard.
This occurred at some point over the weekend of 7th/8th

An
empty property in Tarrington was entered by persons unknown on 7th
August via a side, ground floor window.
Once inside the offenders had made a tidy search of the property. It is unclear at this stage if anything has
been taken but enquiries are ongoing. OIS: 671-S -070810
A
property in Tarrington was broken into on or about 3rd August by persons
unknown while the owners were on holiday.
The grounds keeper came to check the house and found a window ajar
apparently forced open. The alarm system
was intact but not activated and it is believed an unsuccessful attempt had
been made to enter the property. Enquiries are ongoing. OIS: 167-S-030810
WELLINGTON HEATH
Residents
in Wellington Heath returned home to find that their property had been broken
into by persons unknown. This occurred
between 0845 hrs and 1837 hrs on 3rd August when offenders entered
through a rear window. The residents
found their computer unplugged but nothing else was taken. It is believed they
were disturbed.
