Subsequently, Miss C Ramsey of Old Church Road has offered to purchase a bench seat in memory of her parents and wishes it to be located near the Coca Cola factory site. IT WAS RESOLVED that this offer of a new seat be accepted subject to highways confirmation post the survey. The Clerk was instructed to send a suitable holding reply to Miss Ramsey.
ii) Quotation (ref Q529) from Branchworks of £165 to reduce cherry and red sycamore trees from phone lines and reshape trees, located in Walwyn Meadow. IT WAS RESOLVED that this quotation be accepted and the Clerk place an order for the works to be undertaken.
iii) Email regarding possible supply of seat and tree in memory of J Green – former landlord of the Yew Tree, Colwall Green. IT WAS AGREED that the Parish Council has no objection to this request, subject to the tree being a native variety and the Conservators also having no objections.
