NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Countryside Committee will be held in the Jean Simon Room, Colwall Village Hall, on Wednesday 21st May 2008 starting at 7.30pm and all members are summoned to attend. The business to be transacted is set out in the agenda, which is detailed below. 

A G E N D A

1.            Welcome and Apologies for Absence: To consider the acceptance of      apologies for absence from Councillors.

2.             

At this point the meeting will be adjourned to allow members of the public in attendance to speak.

2.         Declarations of Interests: Councillors are reminded of the need:

a)    To update their register of interests.

b)   To declare any Personal Interests in items on the agenda and their nature.

c)    To declare any Prejudicial Interests in items on the agenda. (Councillors must leave the room for the item in which they have declared a Prejudicial Interest but may make representations, give evidence or answer questions before doing so).

 

3          Minutes: To consider the adoption of the minutes of the last meeting of the          Countryside Committee.

 

4          Progress Reports. To receive reports on the following items

                 i.        Geopark project,

               ii.        Information board at Park Hotel

              iii.        Hedgerow encroachment along Evendine Lane

              iv.        Approved work within the Nature Reserve.

               v.        Footpaths

              vi.        Risk Assessments

             vii.        Orchard Project

 

5.         Charlie Ballard Nature Reserve: To receive reports regarding

                    i.          A General Review from the Nature Reserve warden.

                  ii.          Helpers.

 

6.         Footpaths: To receive a report from the Footpath Officer regarding footpaths within the parish.

 

7.         Correspondence: To consider any correspondence received by the Clerk relating to the Countryside Committee since the last meeting:

 

8..        Date of Next Meeting: To confirm the date of the next meeting, this is        scheduled for 2nd July 2008.
