Vehicle Crime

A Vauxhall Astra was damaged in New Street.

A Ford Focus was scratched  in Russett Close.

3 vehicles parked in Mabels Furlong were damaged. Damage was caused to a vehicle parked in car park in Lawnside Road.

A car parked in Homend crescent was ‘keyed ‘ along passenger’s door and paint stripper or a similar substance was thrown at 2 vehicles in Biddulph Way and 1 in Katherines Walk.

Criminal Damage

Fencing was damaged at a property in Queensway.  In the Homend, the door to a restaurant was damaged, 3 panes of glass were broken in a greenhouse and damage was caused to a fence.

Graffiti in black was written on a wall at rear of New Street premises.

Assaults

A female pupil was assaulted at the John Masefield High School.

A female was assaulted in Katherine’s Walk.

Theft

A handbag was stolen from a shop in New Street.

A youth was issued with an £80 fixed penalty notice after being caught shoplifting.

There were three incidents of drivers leaving without paying for fuel at the Homend garage.

An amount of cash was stolen from a business in New St.

Red Diesel and a wheelbarrow were stolen from woodland in Little Marcle.

A cast iron garden chair was stolen from a garden in Homend Crescent.

Biscuits were stolen from a shop in the High Street.

Drugs

Small amount of controlled substance was found on young woman, for her own consumption.

Burglary

A large amount of cash was stolen from business premises in the Homend on the 22/02/08.

 

 

VILLAGE NEWS

Ayleton

A car and other property was stolen when a local property was broken into.

Bosbury

An assault on a young girl was reported.

Colwall

Many items were stolen from a motor vehicle parked in Walwyn Rd.

Cradley

Metal items and a small trolley were taken from a local property.

Eastnor

All four tyres were slashed on a Land Rover parked at Eastnor Castle.

 

 

Little Marcle

A window of a secluded house was broken and the house was entered. The intruder/s left when disturbed by the owners.

Lower Eggleton

There were four instances of drivers leaving without paying for fuel at the garage.

Putley

A considerable amount of tools were stolen from a local fruit farm and a fence was damaged in a local field.

Wellington Heath

A Vauxhall Combo was damaged whilst parked on a private drive.

The front counter at Ledbury Police Station operates surgery hours as follows :-

 

Monday to Sunday                              9am to 1pm

Tuesday and Friday                            4pm to 7pm

Monday, Wednesday &

    Thursday                                           4pm to 7pm

 

The counter is closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.  All other public Holidays the counter will open 9am to 1pm
